Walktober is all about flexibility! All challenges are self-guided. Walk at your own pace, on your own schedule, and wherever you choose.

  • The Bay Bridger: Walk 4 miles, which is the length of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

  • The City Stroller: Walk 10 miles, which is the circumference of the City of Annapolis.

  • The County Cruiser: Walk 24 miles, which is the county’s width, east-to-west.

  • The County Strider: Walk 36 miles, which is the county's length, north-to-south.

  • The Bay Explorer: Walk 533 miles, which is total number of shoreline miles in the county
